1. Create a room
Pick a display name and press Create a room. You get a random room code and an invite link.
Talk to a random stranger, open a private room, send files straight to another device, or cut a 30-second demo video. No sign-up, nothing recorded or stored.

No one nearby yet. Open this page on another device on the same Wi-Fi, pick File transfer and press Scan again. Some networks (campus, office, mobile data) give each device a different public address, so they cannot see each other automatically. If that happens, press the button below: scan the QR code with your other device and the two are linked, and they find each other again on every future visit.
VibeStream has two tools in one page: online video chat and device-to-device file transfer. Video chat pairs you with a random person for a one-to-one video or text chat. Press start, and you are matched as soon as someone else is waiting. Press Next any time to meet someone new, or use a private room to talk to a friend with a 6-character code or invite link. You must be 18 or older. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers, with no app to install and no account to create.

Send the link or the code to one person. They open it, enter a name and join.
Chat face to face, send text messages, mute your mic or turn off your camera any time.
The File transfer tab sends files directly from one device to another, with no upload, no account and no file stored on our server. Open the page on two devices on the same Wi-Fi and they appear to each other automatically, or create a room code to connect devices on different networks. Pick a device or drop files onto it, the other side accepts, and the file goes straight across over an encrypted WebRTC connection. Chrome and Edge save large files straight to disk; other browsers hold the file in memory until it finishes, so very large files are best sent to a Chrome or Edge browser.
The Video editor turns a screen recording into a 15, 30, 45 or 60 second demo for LinkedIn or your portfolio. It keeps the clicks, typing and page changes, removes idle time and loading screens, and exports an MP4 up to 1080p. It runs in your browser, so your video is never uploaded.
Video, audio and messages go directly between the two browsers using WebRTC and are encrypted in transit. There are no accounts, no recordings and no chat history. When a strict firewall or mobile network blocks a direct link, an encrypted TURN relay passes the traffic along without being able to read it.
No. Enter a display name, create a room and share the code. There is nothing to install and no sign-up.
Calls are peer-to-peer and encrypted. Nothing is recorded or stored on our server. Anyone who has your room code can join while the room is open, so only share it with the person you want to talk to.
Each room is one-to-one: the host and one guest.
A video call needs them. Your browser shares them only after you allow it, and you can mute or turn off the camera at any time.
Choose the File transfer tab. Devices on the same network show up on their own, or join the same room code. Select a device, choose files, and the receiver accepts. Files go directly between the two browsers and are never uploaded to our server. If a direct link is impossible, an encrypted relay carries the data without being able to read it.
There is no limit set by the site. In Chrome and Edge the receiver streams the file to disk. In other browsers the received file is held in memory first, so very large files may fail on phones or low-memory devices.
Check that both of you allowed camera and microphone access, reload the page and try a new room. Use a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
